Linney pitched and won the work for The Wildlife Trusts ‘Nextdoor Nature’ campaign. The campaign, launched in conjunction with the Queen’s Jubilee, aimed to encourage the nurturing and growth of green spaces in largely deprived urban areas.
A priority from the beginning was to articulate the campaign in the best tone of voice to reach as many people as possible.
Linney proposed a spoken word piece and engaged George the Poet to write and perform the poem. The piece, plus extrapolated documentary films, was released in May 2022 across social, radio and print.
