Triumph Bonneville T120 Elvis Presley Limited Edition
We played an instrumental role in the launch of Triumph Motorcycles’ new Bonneville T120 Elvis Presley Limited Edition
In 1965, Elvis was taking a break from filming and spending time with his closest friends,
known as the 'Memphis Mafia', at his Bel Air home.

Friend Jerry Schilling had ordered a new Triumph T120 Bonneville and Elvis took it for a ride around the neighbourhood. Elvis was impressed and, when he returned, he told his transportation manager, Alan Fortis, to
"order one for all the guys. But it has to be tonight!"

To celebrate this piece of history,
Triumph Motorcycles produced a stunning T120 Elvis Presley Limited Edition in rich Carnival Red.
Linney shot a launch film and captured images of the bike,
along with designing a gatefold vinyl 12” record and cover as a certificate of authenticity.
Taking cues and measurements from the ’68 Comeback Special, a warehouse on Linney’s campus was blacked out and repainted – with reflective flooring laid. A full-sized Elvis sign was built onsite and fitted with the UK’s last remaining 350 red filament bulbs to give an authentic glow. Once built, the sign was installed in the temporary studio to make the bike the ‘hero’ in an unforgettable setting.
Once the shoot was complete, the Elvis sign was carefully moved to Hinkley where it now stands as a permanent fixture in the Triumph HQ Museum.
