Mattel Hot Wheels - Let's Race
We took the driving seat for a paid social media campaign
to promote global entertainment giant Mattel’s Hot Wheels toy and clothing ranges.
Launched alongside the release of Netflix animated series Hot Wheels Let’s Race, our two Instagram films were
designed to inspire parents – encouraging them to click through to online retailer Very.

Our first film focused on ‘imaginative play’, featuring toys and highlighting the collaborative fun of building racetracks – followed by a little healthy race competition. Film two showcased apparel, shared playtimes and pure imagination. The films were supported by a series of bespoke web banners seamlessly pulling together three distinct brands into a coherent visual language.
Created using a mixture of greenscreen, synchronised robotic platforms and a location house, weaving in Netflix sequences, both films end with the children happily settling back after a fulfilling day to watch Hot Wheels Let’s Race.
