Duran Duran Stampcast
Global music icons Duran Duran were the stars of a Linney vodcast celebrating a new set of Royal Mail stamps honouring the band’s 45-year career.
Founding members Nick Rhodes and John Taylor appeared on an episode of The Stampcast, a regular Royal Mail vodcast filmed, produced, edited and hosted by Linney’s Film team.
It was important for the set to complement the band’s brand and the stamps themselves – rather than visually overpower them. So, Linney’s Film team took over three, stripped back, Regency-style suites at London’s Columbia Hotel to capture John and Nick as they discussed the new collection.
The pair shared fascinating stories behind classic albums such as Rio, singles including Girls on Film and Ordinary World and their legendary Live Aid performance.
The podcast was the centrepiece of a launch campaign handled by the wider Linney Create team, including promo animations, a publication, social and audio adverts.
