Terranovaonly the foley 

When Linney were tasked with creating a brand film for Terranova’s Extremities outdoor clothing range, the shoot took the team to heights of the Lake District. As such, it wasn’t possible to take a sound operator, so the organic sounds of the landscape couldn’t be captured in-camera. All of the sound design was therefore completed in post using foley – a range of sounds were recorded, edited and manipulated to recreate the realistic sounds of the film – all from the comfort of our edit suites. 

Acnecide MTV Ads - Audio-first disruptive advertisements

Linney created a series of sponsorship idents for MTV, where the creative was based around  breaking out from the norm of what’s expected by using audio to stand out from an otherwise very noisy platform. We decided to use the ASMR trend to create soothing and tranquil advertisements to promote the brand – juxta positioning against the late-evening programming with a visual and sonic sensory experience. As a result, all of the sound was designed first to create the sonic landscapes and the visuals were then developed off of the back of the sounds selected.
